General information about Implants Marathon

The IDA Implants Marathon is a half-day course of theoretical and laboratory classes and 5 days of live implant surgeries on patients.

We offer 4 courses:

Level 1:
Participants spend 6 days learning how to plan the patient treatment and place implants. 30 implants per participant are guaranteed! This hands-on, live implant course will give you the confidence to start placing implants in your own office. The dentist will place 30 implants and assist with 30 more.

Level 2:  
Participants have the opportunity to perform extraction techniques and immediate implants installation with connective tissue grafts and immediate provisional in the aesthetic area.

Level 3: 

Advanced grafting surgeries. Maxillary sinus lift / ROG
in 5 days of surgery, the professional will choose 8 more complex graft surgeries, half of which may be GBR, more complex defects, and the other half a sinus lift, which may or may not involve the installation of immediate implants.

Courses VIP: 

In the VIP course, the professional chooses one of our 4 levels and proposes 3 dates to choose from to take advantage of the Implants Marathon. Contact us for more information.

Level 1 

Level guarantee: 30 implants in 5 days!

Working in teams of 2 dentists, participants will be exposed to a variety of implant cases, placing 30 implants as the lead surgeon and assisting 30 more.

Cases can range from simple to moderately complex and may include the following:

 Replacement of a single tooth (anterior and posterior)
 Multiple implants (overdenture up to full mouth)
 Immediate extraction and placement
 Basic bone grafting and L- PRF

Cases are subject to patient availability.

 


 
 

Level 2 

Immediate aesthetics 

Working as a team of 2 Dentists, participants are exposed to 10 implant placements with tissue grafts and immediate provisionals in aesthetic areas.

Level 3

Level Guarantee: 8 advanced cases in 5 days!

Advanced graft surgeries. Sinus lift / GBRAdvanced graft surgeries. Sinus lift / GBR


In 5 days, the professional may perform 8 sinus lifts, which may or may not involve the installation of immediate implants or 6 sinus lifts with 2 more GBRs.
